Today was their Sangeet ceremony. Everyone was in high spirits, preparing for their performance. Taani was to perform with her future husband, and they had been preparing for it as well for the last week. She was supposed to get ready earlier than everyone else because of their photoshoot and that is why a makeup artist was waiting for her as soon as she got freshened up.

Taani groaned at the mere sight of her. 'God! Not another torturous few hours.' She almost cried at the sight of her but sat down in her chair nonetheless without any argument. She loved the end result of these makeup sessions but hated the torturous process itself.

After two hours and three naps her makeup was almost done and she just had to wear the dress. Just as she finished wearing her dress, her phone chimed with a text from Yuvraj.

"Pura din logi kya ab taiyaar hone ke liye!? Mai 2 ghante se intzaar kar raha hu tumhara." (𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚? 𝑰'𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 2 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔!) This text was followed by a selfie where he was cutely scrunching his nose like a child. She laughed at his cuteness and replied.

"Tum ladko ko wese bhi karna hi kya hota hai? Hume to dress pehnne ke liye bhi 4 logon ki help lagti hai!" (𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒖𝒚𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐? 𝑾𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅.) She followed it with a mirror selfie of herself without revealing her face.

Yuvraj sucked in a breath as he looked at her beautiful figure and then saw what she actually said. "I hope koi ladka nahi tha wo 'help' karne ke liye" (𝑰 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒃𝒐𝒚 𝒕𝒐 '𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑' 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕.) He said referring to her needing help to wear her dress. He followed it with a selfie where he was narrowing his eyes looking all intimidating.

"The na, 2 ladke the. Ab mera lehenga hai hi itna bhaari mai kya karu." (𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒔 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝑰 𝒅𝒐? 𝑴𝒚 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒚.) Of course there were no boys but she couldn't stop herself from messing with him.

"Wtf!!?? Tumne ladkon ke samne apne kapde badle?" (𝑾𝒕𝒇? 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒃𝒐𝒚𝒔?) He was ready to sprint up to her room to teach her a lesson when she replied with laughing emojis.

"You are so cute!😂" She replied, not really denying if it was true or not.

"Ma'am your makeup is done, I'll take my leave now." The MUA said as she finished packing up her kit.

She admired herself in the mirror, genuinely loving her look. "Thank you so much for doing such a flawless makeup."

The MUA jokingly replied. "Of course at least you're looking more cheerful now compared to how you were looking at the beginning of it." Taani blushed giving her an embarrassed smile and shrugged her shoulders in a 'it is what it is' look.

Then she checked her mobile as she made her way downstairs, there was a text from Yuvraj. "Jawab do!" (𝑨𝒏𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒆!) She rolled her eyes and ignored the text.

"Bossy Singhania!" She murmured walking out of her room. As she was about to descend the stairs someone grabbed her hand and dragged her back in the hall, behind a tall tree placed there for decoration.

"What the hell? Chhoriye hume!" (𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆!) She yelled but the kidnapper placed his hands on her mouth, effectively shutting her up.

"Tumhe to mai batata hu mai kitna bossy hu." (𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒚 𝑰 𝒂𝒎.) Yuvraj said trapping her against the wall, still keeping her mouth firmly closed. As soon as she heard Yuvraj's voice she relaxed, the panic leaving her body in an instant. She had to crane her neck to look up at him, her eyes glossy and filled with fear.

"Mmhmm" She tried saying something but to no avail. She scratched at his arms, pleading him with her eyes to let her go.

"Kya bol rahi thi? Bossy Singhania huhh? Tumne abhi dekha hi kaha hai mai kitna bossy hu!" (𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈? 𝑩𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒚 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂 𝒉𝒖𝒉𝒉? 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏'𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒚 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒃𝒆.) He walked forward until he was flushed against her. She tapped on his hands again, this time he lowered his hands, taking hold of her throat instead. She clutched on to his hand and took deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Ese koi karta hai kya?" (𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔?) She shouted at him, slapping on his shoulder, almost on the verge of crying.

"Hey hey it's just me, calm down." He palmed her cheeks gently, swiped her tears with his thumbs and made her look up at him.

She looked up at him with wide tearful eyes. He was transfixed by her, mesmerized by her sparkling eyes and the way her nose and cheekbones got all red.

"Beautiful..." He whispered

"Tumko ye beautiful lag raha hai huhh?" (𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒉𝒖𝒉𝒉?) She started hitting him on his chest once again until he took hold of her hands and placed it above her head on the wall behind her. She gasped at the way this made her breast push forward, touching his chest.

"Ab mai baat kar sakta hu ya abhi bhi kuch baaki hai?" (𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑰 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒐𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒆𝒇𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐?) She shook her head without a word and took a deep breath bringing herself even closer to him. He smirked at her and tightened his hold on her hands in a warning for her to remain still.

"Did you change in front of boys?"

Her eyes widened in shock, not quite believing that he would react like this because of that. Then she raised her eyebrows challenging him and asked. "So what if I did?" He narrowed his eyes at her audacity and moved closer to her face, close enough to kiss her lips.

"I hope you are not being serious darling because I'd hate to teach you a lesson. These..." He pushed forward making her flush against him, his chest against her breasts. "These are mine, and only for me to see, touch, bite and suck. No one else gets to see them. So I'd ask again, did you change in front of other boys?" Her eyes widened at his words, at the way he was shamelessly claiming her as his.

"No! Now let me go, you psycho!" She squirmed under him, getting all hot and bothered by his words and his close proximity. He smirked and moved a bit away from her.

"Ahem!" Taani's eyes widened when she heard someone clearing their throat but Yuvraj knew it was none other than his 'kabab mai haddi' brother Rishi. Taani pushed him away and peeked from behind the tree. She saw Rishi and Karan standing a few feet away from them, intentionally avoiding eyes with her but couldn't seem to stop smiling.

"Don't worry we saw and heard nothing." Karan said making Taani blush even harder. Yuvraj was concerned, at this rate she was going to faint. Rishi palmed his face muttering 'way to go you dumbass.'

"Wo cameraman bula raha hai photoshoot ke liye." (𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒃𝒐𝒕𝒉 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒕.) Rishi said

"We'll be down there in some time." Said Yuvraj, seemingly unbothered by his brother and best friend's presence. Taani narrowed her eyes, angry at him for making her embarrassed like this in front of others. "No we are going right now!" Taani dared him to say otherwise. Even Rishi and Karan smirked and raised their eyebrows at Yuvraj. 'This is going to be interesting, finally someone on the same level as Yuvi.' They thought.

Yuvraj just sighed, took hold of her hand and dragged her down with him, Taani couldn't even make herself to look at them when they passed by. Yuvraj on the other hand deliberately knocked his shoulders with Karan saying. "Saala kabab mai haddi." (𝑭𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕!)

Taani furiously whispered "Shut up!" pinching his forearm.

"Oww Taani!" Yuvi screamed, rubbing the red spot on his forearm.

The next few hours were spent doing the photoshoot. The cameraman showed them new poses and some old ones similar to their haldi shoot.

They were on their last shot where they were gazing up at each other, when Taani looked at someone behind him and her eyes widened, she literally pushed him away from her and ran towards him.

"Sid!" Taani couldn't be happier as she saw Siddharth standing a few feet away from them. She didn't think twice before running towards him. He had been away since their last argument, she tried to contact him a few times but he was unreachable every time. It was when they sent the invitation card to the Mehras, that she got to know that he had been traveling abroad since the last few days.

She literally jumped into his arms and hugged him to herself. Sid returned her hug, even seemed quite affectionate with her. He brought his hand up, placed it over her cheek, rubbing his thumb back and forth he said something which made her lower her face shyly. 'How dare he touch her like that? That too in front of me?' Yuvraj thought angrily.

Yuvraj could do nothing but glare at him, hating him for touching his Taani but he soon schooled his features and made his way towards them. He not so subtly put his hands around Taani's waist and pulled her to himself until she was flushed against him, and was far away from Sid. Taani looked back at Yuvi in surprise, seemingly forgot all about him up until now and tried to move away, only for him to tighten his hold further. Then he extended his other hand towards Sid for a hand shake.

"Sid, what a pleasant surprise. Nice to meet you again." For a few seconds Sid's gaze remained at his hand around Taani but then he shook his hand.

"You too Yuvraj." He replied.

"Umm... When did you come back?" Taani asked subconsciously moving towards him. Yuvraj tightened his hold and looked down at her with a warning in his eyes, Taani gulped nervously and stuck herself to Yuvraj like he wanted, afraid of his reaction if she didn't.

"An hour ago"

"From where?" Asked Yuvraj

"I was in Australia." Yuvraj raised his eyebrows in faux surprise because he already knew all about where he had been for the past few weeks. He had done a thorough check about why his wife's so called best friend was not there in any of the functions. He had guessed his intention towards Taani the first time they met in the cafe and knew he had to be aware of his whereabouts at all times. 'This f*cker is not taking her away from me!' Yuvi thought as he looked up and down at him in distaste.

"Oh? How could the best friend of the bride miss her wedding? I had thought you would be the first one to dance in all of the functions with my Taani." Yuvraj did not miss how his face contorted in anger, nor the way he clenched his fists when he claimed Taani as his in front of him. He smirked and told him to dance at their Sangeet ceremony tonight before whisking his soon to be wife away from her lover. Taani looked at Sid with helplessness but walked quietly with Yuvraj.

As soon as they entered the venue they were welcomed with a bang. Everyone was there, all their family members, their friends and associates. They performed their dance sequence first as they were the bride and groom. Taani was in no mood to dance with Yuvraj, knowing he deliberately acted that way with Siddharth but Yuvraj dragged her to the dance floor anyways.

Yuvraj placed a hand around her waist and pulled her flushed against him. Taani kept a hand on his shoulder to keep her balance and looked up at him furiously.

She locked her hands behind his neck and pulled his face down towards herself, so that they looked all cute and intimate to others. Then she leaned towards his ear and whispered furiously. "Keep your hands away from me or I might just break them!"

Yuvraj only smirked at her and pulled her even closer, not bothering about the guests at all. Everyone hooted for them. "Meri pyari biwi, itne gusse se mat dekho, kahin sach mai pyar na ho jaye tumse." (𝑴𝒚 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒇𝒆, 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓, 𝒐𝒓 𝑰 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖.) Her eyes widened at his audacity.

"You...you!" She was just so angry she couldn't even finish what she had to say.

"Haan haan mai, Yuvraj Singhania, husband to be of you, Ms. Tanisha Mittal." (𝒀𝒆𝒔 𝒎𝒆, 𝒀𝒖𝒗𝒓𝒂𝒋 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒂, 𝒉𝒖𝒔𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑴𝒔 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒂 𝑴𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒂𝒍.)

"Shut up!" They danced on two songs before Taani forced him to leave her. They walked off the dance floor. 'Khadoos Singhania!' She thought angrily in her mind.

She immediately turned towards the open bar they had set up for everyone but regretted going there as soon as she saw her friends standing there in a group. 'Of course I'd find them near the bar.' She thought while rolling her eyes.

"Ahh the bride herself makes an appearance, bow down everyone!" Raghav taunted making everyone look at her. He had his hands around Mahira, his apparent fiancee.

She rolled her eyes, without bothering with a reply and ordered a drink for herself. "What the fuck? We met you a few days ago and you introduced him as a family friend!" Sonia shouted giving her a hug.

"Well he is one." She sipped on her drink, appearing as cool as a cucumber. 'Woah it's a hard one.' She thought ordering another drink.

"Don't be coy with me you bitch." Taani just shrugged her shoulders. She just wanted to drink her sorrows away in peace but she doesn't even have that luxury it seems.

"Snatched the hottest businessmen out there huhh? Great job Taani!" Mahira said smirking at her and gave the loudest and most fake laugh ever.

"I am not you Mahira. I don't have to snatch anyone." Everyone's eyes widened at her being so bold, she usually didn't bother replying to anyone. Taani was already so bored of these guys.

"Quite the backbone you've grown even without the back-up of Mehra, isn't he the one who usually does the talking for the both of you? It's pathetic how you immediately dumped him for the next best thing. I pity him really." Said Raghav.

She ordered two more drinks, the previous one not quite doing its job. His words literally broke her heart in two but she'd be damned if she showed even a hint of it on her face. "Are you just sour because I beat you to the race? After all you have been engaged to Mahira for far longer. It makes me wonder though are you even planning on marrying her or...?" She left her words hanging for them to make of it what they want. Pranav coughed hiding his laugh and Vaibhav turned away from them since he wasn't able to do a good job of hiding his.

"Mind your words bitch." Shouted Mahira making a lot of people turn around to look at them.

"You mind how you talk to my wife!" Suddenly Yuvraj was there beside Taani, looking down upon Mahira. She literally cowed away from him and hid behind Raghav who looked a bit nervous himself. "You fucking dare to come here and insult the host herself? Security! Show her the way outside." Yuvraj was literally seething in anger and would have thrown them out himself if the security hadn't arrived on time.

"You too, out." Said Rishi gesturing to Raghav as he made his way towards them along with Karan. Raghav walked out of there but not before giving them a warning that they'd regret insulting him like this.

Everyone looked at the Singhania brothers with wide eyes even Taani, who was now swaying on her feet after almost four drinks. After the slight commotion Yuvraj looked down at his wife and sighed softly. "You don't let anyone talk to you like that ever again you hear me?" Taani mutely nodded her head with a watery smile. "My prince charming!" She said flicking him on his nose. Yuvraj's eyebrows raised in surprise.

"Just how much have you had to drink?" He asked holding her upright.

"One?" When Yuvraj raised his eyebrows at her. She changed it to two. "Two? Umm... Maybe three. No more than four I swear." Yuvraj rubbed his eyebrows tiredly while Rishi and Karan laughed out loud at their sister-in-law.

"Is everything alright? What happened to Taani?" Asked Avi as he came with a sleepy Kiara on his arms but as soon as she saw Taani standing close to Yuvi she started shouting her name trying to get out of Avi's arms.

"Bua! Bua! Dur! Dur!" Everyone started laughing at her cuteness and Avi gave a tired sigh before holding her tight to himself so that she doesn't jump out of his arms.

"Aww my Kiki." Taani started walking towards her but Yuvi held her back. "Haan bhaiya sab theek hai bas iski tabiyat thodi theek nahi lag rahi hai." (𝒀𝒆𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈'𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒂𝒂𝒏𝒊'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍.) Replied Yuvi. Avi nodded and told him that he'll give Kiara to Dhriti and come back to take her home so she can rest but Yuvi denied saying he will drop her instead. Avi hesitated a bit but when Kiara started making a fuss he had no choice but to agree with him.

"Take good care of her!" He warned Yuvi before walking away.

"Bhai take her home I'll inform the family, she needs to rest." Yuvraj nodded his head and picked Taani up bridal style before walking out of there with two guards following behind them.

"Ohh he's such a hot gentleman!" Said Sonia with a sigh as she looked at them walking away. Rishi looked at her in surprise before hurrying away from there as well.
